This Is What Hope Looks Like - with Jordin Tootoo

A SPECIAL EVENING WITH NHL STAR JORDIN TOOTOO & THIRD SPACE LIFE CHARITY

Third Space Life Charity invites you to an intimate evening with NHL star, author and mental health advocate, Jordin Tootoo. Taking place during National Suicide Prevention Week, this timely event aims  to help break the stigma surrounding mental health in the Okanagan, while raising funds to provide clinical counselling for at-risk individuals in our community who need it most.

Hear Jordin share his journey from growing up in Nunavut, to being chosen by the Nashville Predators in the 2001 NHL Entry Draft while facing addiction and hopelessness in his own life.  A trailblazer on and off the ice, Tootoo’s talks offer a moving and timely discussion of grit and resilience, goal-setting, overcoming adversity in the pursuit of excellence, and how life can be improved through meaningful stewardship.

Ticket includes a welcome beverage and hors d' oeuvres provided by Gather. All proceeds and funds raised will go to the Third Space Community Care Program, which provides affordable clinical counselling to residents in need in the Okanagan area. All donations made at this event will be doubled, dollar for dollar by private donors.
